THE WORST company to deal with

THE WORST company to deal with. We are trying to get money back for a holiday that we were unable to take because of COVID. All we get are UNACCEPTABLE excuses, excuses, excuses. Completely frustrating and time consuming. well over a year and still no refund!

So due to covid CP say that if they have to change your dates they will give you £100 off, very nice I thought, keeps me interested.Just received an invoice of £100 due to the date changing from January to February then to march. So not a sweetner or a gesture of Goodwill.Cancelled.

Avoid Center Parcs dreadful service.

Avoid Center ParcsHave been trying to contact CParcs for days by phone, e-mail and web cam. Hours spent and no further forward. Would advise people to avoid Center Parcs until the reviews start improving and Center Parcs gets its act together. Such a shame but really bad for reputation.

There is no working system to get a…

There is no working system to get a refund if you wish to cancel due to Covid. I’ve now completed three cancellation forms but absolutely nothing has happened. Except they’ve now emailed asking for the balance of the holiday cost, or THEY will cancel my booking and I’ll not get a penny of the deposit back. The book with confidence guarantee doesn’t in reality exist. There’s no replies to emails and you can’t get through on the phone. I’ve been going to Cparcs yearly for the past 16 years. I’ve lost all confidence now so never again. (I also booked this less than 30 days after my last stay, thats supposed to mean there is a refund or you can change your mind without any extra charge. But if you can’t get through to anyone you can’t sort it, so they are in breach of their own terms).

Shocking customer service DO NOT recommend…

Shocking treatment DO NOT recommend this place due to disgraceful customer service - the manager has sent 2 children home in tears after accusing them of living in a tier 3 area and not allowing them entry. How about you personally contact people in advance that your policy is not to let tier 3 areas in especially given we paid well in advance and you have our contact details? That would be good customer service rather than turning people who have paid away from the door. Do not pretend to be child friendly when the nonchalant manager displayed absolutely no sensitivity towards children! Won’t ever be visiting again

I really need my money back during this special time. Recently I was moving and everywhere need money. This refund really important for me to get through this hard time!!

Not as good as normal but that's COVID, not CP fault

Hmm, to counter some of the negative reviews. Our refund/rebooking process was faultless - a simple email asking which we required, the (one chalet, £1800) refund was processed in good time (a few weeks) and the rebooking was processed within 1 week, including our requested chalet number. They have processed all refunds requested several months ago. I needed to contact them, they responded by e-mail within 48 hours. My call on a different matter was answered and dealt with. My suspicion is that the complainers on here are trying to cancel when CP are open and their booking is going ahead. Well, we have to live in post-covid times....things change, and we have to live with it.At the moment the Covid issues are evident - you need to be more "on time" to ensure things can be sanitised between guests, and some high touch areas (playgrounds) are closed again as expected due to COVID. I found no issue with the swimming - they are clear on the time you have and the time you need to arrive....turning up late means you miss your slot....because they need to get people through the changing rooms and sanitise them for the next lot. You really do feel for the staff, people pitching up late then screaming at the staff as though it is their fault. Overall I'd rather go with no restrictions but that's not CP fault, and they seem to be doing their best. A pleasant break, but I'm really looking forward to going back post restrictions.

Grandma wants her money back . . .

booked a family weekend for my grandchildren at Woburn Centreparcs. They took over £800 deposit from my bank account in February this year. Due to Covid it was closed and cancelled on June 9th. I have requested repayment of the money several times via their support team, and as yet have had no solid feedback, just a general -'.we have received your contact and will look into it '. Centreparcs, you have had my money in your account for 6 months. I need it back in my account!!!

tropical pool session not fairly shared for mid week stay compared to weekedn or one week stay

i booked late June and now found out there are two sessions 2 hour each for stay mid week however long week and Monday to Monday receive 50% i.e. 2 sessions or 4 sessions. this is not considered fair.furthermore if they have reduced the capacity in the park then why are sessions in this way.no reduction in the price to consider this as i had to cancel my Easter due to covid-19 - did not rally get cheaper price etc.

Dont go

Awful experience. Paid a 1000 for a weekend, extremely poor service and attitude. Came with 3 toddlers, they were sleeping, then we got lost a but and were 5 minutes late for the pool. We were told we cant enter as we are 5 mis late and the staff got very aggressive and lound. As a result kids started crying. Wr managed to get a slot 2 hours later , which meant we will be out at 8pm, but the toddlers wont just have a chance to get the dinner, they would have to go to bet straight away. We also had an executive lodge that cones with sauna and we had only 6 sets of towels for a group of 7. We used the large ones for the sauna and asked extra one for 1 missing and extra large ones for the bath. We were told there has to be a change of 7 pounds which is just extraordinary as for the £1000 2 day break. With checking in at 4 and friday and moving out at 9 am on monday it really makes 2 nights as it does not make any sense to say till Monday. The activities are also very linited, service is very bad and slow. We asked for the bedding for the toddler bed ehich was in the lodge, but were told only the sheet can be provided due to health and safety. Is there any difference in bringing just the sheet and the bedding with hands with no gloves? I dont think so. Would i go again? Definitely not. Highly not recommended

Absolutely shocking customer service…

Absolutely shocking customer service and that's WITH making covid19 allowances when other companies are still managing a basic form of communication. Our hol is booked for two weeks time and I got the remaining balance demand saying if I didn't pay on the 17th or cancelled on that date I would lose my deposit. I tried to phone which is impossible as the call centre is closed, tried emailing and got a standard 'we are dealing with your query' response but nothing else since so eventually I DMd them on twitter and got a response to say I will soon get an email with a refund option. That was a week ago and still nothing!

Disappointing communications

Disappointing communications. We have used Centerparcs for family holidays on many occasions. But current experience is very poor. No phone lines in use at all now (17 July) and successive emails not answered. In theory, the balance on my break is due today, but I have previously asked to move to next year. No reply, just a reminder that the balance is due today! And much of the detail on their website is out of date. Everyone understands about Covid19, but other companies are managing to communicate with their customers. Perhaps this one is a company that doesn't value loyalty? If so, they'll pay a high price.
